Pastry Chef – Cadence Bakery (Herlev, Copenhagen)
Hours: Approx. 04:00–12:00, 5 days a week (hours can be negotiated)

About Us
Cadence is a vibrant brunch restaurant and bakery based in Copenhagen. As we expand with our new bakery production hub in Herlev, we’re looking for a skilled Pastry Chef to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated production space focused on quality and creativity.
Your Role
As a Pastry Chef at Cadence Bakery, you’ll work alongside our head baker and pastry team to produce a range of laminated products. You’ll be involved in early-morning baking, finishing filled and decorated pastries, and contributing to product development as we expand our offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce laminated and classic patisserie products to a high and consistent standard
- Prepare and bake morning pastries and other pastry-based items
- Make creams, custards, fillings, and glazes as part of daily production
- Assist with shaping, baking, and finishing pastry products
- Support new product development through testing and creative input
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and consistency in the pastry section
What We’re Looking For
- Formal training or strong experience in pastry and lamination
- Skilled in working with creams, mousses, and classic patisserie techniques
- A passion for precision and beautiful presentation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently under time pressure
- A collaborative, positive attitude and comfort with early mornings
